Trendy Color Palettes for your 2024 Wedding

Selecting a color palette is a crucial part of the wedding planning process. It’s a choice that will impact many components of the wedding including the décor, florals, dresses, and tuxedos. You may be thinking ‘Where do I even begin?’ Lucky for you, wedding planning is our passion and we have narrowed down six of our favorite color schemes and included wedding expert tips on making this important decision.

First things first, you want to select a palette of 3-4 colors. Anything more can appear unorganized or chaotic. Select a ‘base’ color that will serve as the primary color. From there, select 1-2 shades that blend well with your base color and consider neutrals as well to help balance everything out. Neutrals consist of white, ivory, cream, grey, silver, champagne, gold, etc.

Next, consider the season of your wedding when choosing you palette.

Spring – with summer right around the corner, spring is a joyous time of year. Spring is the perfect opportunity to take advance of fun colors such as lilac, yellow, baby blue and pink.

Summer – one of the best seasons at the Jersey Shore, summer weddings are bright and colorful. During summer months, we see many shades of blue, yellow, pink and green. The perfect recipe for a warm, sunny day!

Fall – ranked the most popular season to get married, fall is known for its ideal weather, beautiful backdrops and of course, pumpkin spice lattes. Greens, oranges and browns serve as the most vibrant fall colors.

Winter – a dreadful time of year to most. However, the winter months boast some of the boldest colors such as navy, ice blue, burgundy and plum.
